The radiation detector probe is situated at second floor of residential home, monitoring exterior radiation level.
The radiation detector is a thin walled geiger mueller pancake tube, capable of detecting alpha, beta, gamma and x-ray radiation.
The unit records all radioactive particles (including background radiation) it detects in Counts-per-minute, and then converts it to micro Sv/hour.
